Porous Metal Snubbers

Mott’s snubbers are designed to eliminate pressure instrument failure for all laboratory and industrial gauging applications. In addition to assuring consistent pressure readings, porous metal snubbers increase instrument life by eliminating variations in line pressure caused by hydraulic or pneumatic shocks and pulses. Our porous metal media is suitable for use in oils, gases, water, or mercury. Mott offers both external-mount and internal-mount snubbers.
