Mott Corp Signs $10M+ Deal to Supply Filtration Systems
Mott Corporation has signed a contract in excess of $10 million to produce and supply gas and liquid filtration systems for PEMEX Dos Bocas Refinery Plant in Tabasco, Mexico.
“This contract will support more than 200 precision manufacturing and engineering jobs in our two facilities in Connecticut. As a Connecticut manufacturer, we were assisted in this by our state leaders such as Lt. Governor Susan Bysiewicz, Chief Manufacturing Officer Colin Cooper, and Director Anne Evans from the U.S. Department of Commerce, who worked with us to advocate our bid at the highest levels. Their advocacy to the Mexican government for this contract was the essential piece that supported this bid,” said Boris Levin, Chief Executive Officer of Mott Corporation.
Lt. Governor Bysiewicz helped to bring together Mott Corporation, the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Connecticut office, and the Office of the Mexican Consul General, to highlight the benefits of this partnership.
The company is slated to begin production immediately with a targeted completion date of 2022.
