Hologic Integrates Mott’s Titanium Porous Metal Filters and Products
Hologic, one of the first companies to bring imaging and intervention together for women’s health, integrates Mott’s titanium porous metal into their suite of biopsy site markers. Doctor’s use their marker deployment systems to extract tissue from the biopsy area which leaves a porous rod in its place. This allows the accurate marking of a specific location for highly targeted treatment or analysis under imaging modalities such as MRI, x-ray, ultrasound and mammography.
